 Preparations for the fayre continue and today we can announce that will be having a lovely glossy A5-sized fayre programme printed, with all the information about the day, a site map and a lucky prize number on the front. To cover the cost of printing this programme we are inviting people to place adverts in the programme.  To give people a chance to try out water rockets before the Summer Fayre, I have arranged for a Water Rocket Building Workshop to take place at the Memorial Institute on Sunday 17th June. This will be a chance to have a go at making a rocket, and if time allows we shall try some launches too - hopefully on the Millennium Green, where we shall be launching on the day of the Fayre. If anyone is interested in coming along to the workshop, please see the workshop page and use the online booking form. Entry will be £2 per person, and you should bring your own empty fizzy drink bottle. Children must be accompanied by an adult. I've been working on the design for the tickets for our Grand Prize Raffle, and today have ordered the tickets. We will have tickets on sale shortly - books of five, costing a pound a ticket. We are pleased to announce our grand first prize is a Baltic Cruise from SAGA! They have very generously donated one of their top holiday packages to us to give to the lucky winner. There are loads of other prizes on offer too, so look out for our raffle tickets when they go on sale.
