So what's all this about then?
This Summer, Rotherfield St Martin have teamed up with The Kings Arms to provide a traditional Summer Fayre, taking place on Sunday the 8th of July.
Proceeds for the event will go towards the work of Rotherfield St Martin to help provide support and assistance to the vulnerable and elderly in the Rotherfield area.

The fayre will take place in the garden of the Kings Arms from 12pm to about 5pm on Sunday the 8th of July.
There are a whole load of sideshows and activities which we are planning - which I can't tell you about yet, 'cos they're SECRET! and the people running them haven't agreed yet. But we are hoping to include face painting, pony rides, a raffle and all the usual traditional fair fun.

There will definitely be a Water Rocket Challenge, with a prizes for the best. Entries for the Water Rocket Challenge can be from anyone in the local area, and I am hoping some of the local schools will provide some entries for this competition too. I'm looking for a sponsor for this competition at the moment, so if you would like to help with this then please get in touch.
There will be an event programme printed, and we will be looking for local businesses to place adverts to help us cover the costs. We are also looking for some sponsors to provide some raffle prizes.
As we've just started out, there's not much more to tell right now. Obviously one of the jobs on the list was to launch a website - and here it is! Now that's done we're pressing on with the rest.
